As usual, the Holidays can be a hectic time. There’s been a lot going on, so I figured it was time for another update!
At the Threshold of the Universe has passed it’s biggest edit, and now it’s getting a final look from two last beta readers, one being my Deaf Community consultant. Jason will be starting up illustrating soon, and Daniel will begin the cover design late January. We sort of put a hold on everything until after the Holiday season. I intend to roll out some of those pieces of artwork whenever they become available. I can’t wait!
On the Winds of Quasars‘ audiobook is sort of at a standstill until after the holidays as well, but I’ve already heard Michael’s first 15 minute submission and it is SO GOOD to have him back as Kamaria’s voice. I can’t wait to see what he does with Quasars and Threshold, but I also gave him a loose deadline. I like his work so much that I’m willing to wait and work on his schedule. At the moment, we don’t have an estimated release date for the audiobook, but it will be worth the wait.
Quasars was also featured in the 12/15 edition Kirkus Reviews Magazine! Page 180.
In the Orbit of Sirens just moved forward in the #SPSFC contest on twitter! Special thank you to the excellent bloggers at Fanfiaddict.com for their approval. I’m so happy to have them be the judges for Sirens.
I’m also brainstorming more ideas for potential side-novels in the Song of Kamaria universe. The main trilogy is complete, but I love Kamaria too much to just let it sit stagnant too long. Just need the right idea to come to me before proceeding. If you have elements you love, or things you’d love explored further, comment below! I’m taking a lot into consideration right now, and outside input my push the idea’s forward.
That’s all for now!
Happy Holidays everyone!
