I’ve mentioned before that I work as a previz artist in the film industry. It started with Man of Steel when they filmed near my hometown and hired local artists (I didn’t fully understand what I was getting myself into at the time.) and has led me all the way to my dream job. I still currently work as a Previz/Layout artist, but a little over two years ago I shifted from live-action films to animated films. 

Working in the film industry has given me a rare opportunity to work with some of the best storytellers today. I’ve worked with many great teammates and supervisors, and I’m happy to call a lot of them my friends still (artist Jason Michael Hall is a good example. Fellow previz artist turned friend turned interior artist for my debut novel.)
